clot and roll

It was three days ago when I sat in my doctors office and found out that the pulled muscle that i was sure that i had turned out to be a BLOOD CLOT! OUCH! I'm ok dispite my attemps to dislodge the darn thing all week with work, moving, massages, and my insatiable love of the ancient art of jump roping.The treatments for my condition are as follows.... one blood thinning pill everyday as well as 2 shots to the stomache daily. Its at this point I want to tell you how blessed i feel to have my wonderful wife Cindy here as my wet nurse. She has been incredible and has had to bathe me, give me shots in the stomache, and just about everything else except for wiping me. I will find out more information Monday at my next doctors appointment (did I mention I was confinedc to the couch). Until then, Happy New Year and Good night - Brad

to boldly go where I've never gone before!

Tonight my wife and I will spend our first night in our new house in Aurora, Colorado. This will be our first house together and I can't help but wonder about all the adventures that will take place inside those walls. What a wonderful feeling to own a little place in this world for yourself. God...bless this house and everyone in it!

Going commando

How is it that my wife has only been gone from the house for 2 days and i have completely ran out of underwear?? That does not even seem possible. I miss her!! -Brad

The in-laws

What a great honor and blessing it is to have such wonderful parents but for the life of me I don't know what I did to deserve such great and wonderful in-laws as well. To describe them as in laws almost deminishes how much i love and respect them. I am also lucky to have wonderful sisters such as tammy and holly and a brother like ethan. The family is growing...i just meet jenna and she will be a great fit into the family. I look forward to many, many more trips to colorado springs and feel very blessed to be me right now. -brad

new pizza toppings

instead of using the old stand by tomato sauce...try using items such as sweet chili sauce, peanut sauce or pesto. you will love it. thats what ive been making all day.

one pound of beef

What makes a Sane man see a "pounder" and "Hamburger" put together on a restaurant sign and say..."O.K., that's what I'll have. It was good....boy I'm full. One of the new trends in the culinary world for 2010 is smaller portions, someone forgot to tell fuddruckers, and stomach. -brad
